I am a Cyber Wellness Reporter

Another exciting event, 'I am a Cyber Wellness Reporter', was held in Term 3. During recess, our Primary 4 and 5 ambassadors went around gathering information about their peers' understanding of cyber wellness. They took on roles as reporters, conducted surveys and interviewed their peers. To make this event more interesting, some ambassadors even wore huge posters (that had quizzes on them) around their necks. This idea was indeed a novel and eye-catching one. Overall, this event was well-received by teachers and students alike. The cyber wellness ambassadors mentioned that this experience was an engaging one as they could survey their friends and take on roles as 'real' reporters. They even expressed interest to participate in such an event in the future.

P1-P2 "My Recess With Cyber Wellness"

The P5 Cyber wellness ambassadors guided the P1 and P2 ambassadors to conduct the " My Recess With Cyber Wellness" for the P1 and P2 pupils during the recess. As seniors, they led the P1 and P2 Cyberwellness ambassadors to faciliate the pupils in the coloring-quiz and Haiku-cyberwellness competition during the lower primary recess in week 6. The ambassadors invited their classmates to the event and guided them throughout the activity. It was really a fun and enriching week for the ambassadors as they played an active role in promoting cyber wellness among their peers.

We also trained the P2 Ambassadors for the upcoming "P2 Haiku- Cyberwellness Competition".  They will faciliate the competition during recess.  Catch them in action soon!

 

Cyber Wellness Blogging Week in Term 2

Cyber Wellness Team organised a "Cyber Wellness Blogging Week" during recess in Term 2.

Pupils blogged on the school cyber wellness blog during recess. Pupils reflected and blogged on cyber wellness topics like copyright, cyber-bullying and internet safety faciliated by the student ambassadors. Primary 1 and 2 pupils also took part in the colouring competition on pictures related to cyber wellness. Student ambassadors also conducted quizzes on topics related to cyber wellness.

Jean saved a picture from a website and used it on her own blog. In the blog, she acknowledged where she saved it from. Is she doing the right thing? Why or why not?

2. Spread rumors or lie about someone.
3. Send threat messages.
4. Fighting online using vulgar language.
